Stoughton High School

On the afternoon of January 8th, Stoughton Public Schools was informed about a nationwide cybersecurity data breach in December involving our student information system provider, PowerSchool. Our IT staff has confirmed that SPS student and staff information has been compromised, along with potentially millions of other PowerSchool users across the country.

This news, and the delay in which it was reported to us, is extremely concerning. PowerSchool held a webinar with impacted districts this afternoon and we are currently awaiting more information from PowerSchool about this incident.

As we gather more information, we will be sure to update the community.
