Back to School Nights
Our elementary schools, O'Donnell Middle School, and Stoughton High School are all holding back to school nights this week:
O'Donnell Middle School - Tuesday, September 16 from 6-8pm
Stoughton High School - Wednesday, September 17 from 6-8pm
Elementary Schools - Thursday, September 18
Hansen - 5-6:30pm
Dawe, Gibbons, South, Wilkins - 6-7:30pm
Your individual school will be providing more details about to expect at these events.
Early Release Day on Thursday
As a reminder, this Thursday, September 18, 2025 is an early release day for the Stoughton Public Schools.
SHS & OMS - 7:35am - 11:32am
Elementary Schools - 8:30am - 12:20pm
Preschool - 8:30am - 11:00am (No afternoon preschool session)
Lunch will still be served.
Opt-In to Receive Text Messages from SPS
If you have not already opted in to receive text messages from the District and your school, you received a message from BrightArrow, Stoughton Public Schools’ communication platform, on Monday, September 15.
This SMS/text message will allow you to opt in to receive important District/school updates, emergency alerts, and other public information. (If you have already opted in to receive our text messages you will not receive this message.)
To opt in at any time, reply "YES" to 79041.
To opt out at any time, reply "STOP."

Nominate SPS Staff for a Bright Knight Award
The Stoughton Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) invites parents of children with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 Plan to nominate one staff member for a Bright Knight Award. This award honors educators for the meaningful impact they have on students with diverse learning needs.
Please complete the Google Form and share a brief explanation of why you are nominating this staff member. Recipients will be recognized at a SEPAC fall meeting, where each honoree will be publicly thanked and presented with a Certificate of Appreciation.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, September 26, 2025.
