SHS senior Anish Sinha received the MASS Certificate of Academic Excellence

Congratulations to Stoughton High senior Anish Sinha for receiving the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (MASS) Certificate of Academic Excellence! Massachusetts school superintendents present this award annually to deserving students in school districts across the state. SPS Superintendent Dr. Thomas Raab presented Anish with his award during the School Committee meeting on April 12.

When introducing Anish to the School Committee, Dr. Raab shared that Anish is a well-rounded student who takes pride in his academics. He has a weighted GPA of 4.87 and is in the top five of his graduating class at SHS. He is enrolled in several Advanced Placement (AP) courses at SHS including AP Physics, AP English Literature, AP US Government and Politics, and AP Spanish. Anish has also taken two dual enrollment courses at the college level.  

Anish is a National Honor Society officer and the NHS tutor coordinator, and is the captain of the boys tennis team. Anish is also an Eagle Scout.

Anish is thinking of attending Boston University and majoring in Computer Engineering next year.
