Nominate SPS Staff for a Bright Knight Award
The Stoughton Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) deeply values the dedication of our educators and the meaningful impact they have on students with diverse learning needs. The SEPAC created The Bright Knight Awards to recognize these educators. The SEPAC invites parents of children with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 Plan to nominate one staff member who has made a significant difference—someone who has built a strong connection with your child, supported their growth, and helped them access and enjoy their education to the fullest.
Please complete the Google Form and share a brief explanation of why you are nominating this staff member.
Recipients will be recognized at a SEPAC fall meeting, where each honoree will be publicly thanked and presented with a Certificate of Appreciation. Portions of nominations may be read during the awards ceremony.
Please note that each parent may nominate only one staff member. A maximum of two staff members per school will be selected each year.
Elementary Band Program Updates & Instrument Rental Night
Attention parents of 4th and 5th grade students: 4th and 5th graders can play an instrument and be a part of their school band. Elementary Instrument Rental Night is this Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 6:30pm in the O'Donnell Middle School Cafeteria (211 Cushing St.). SHS Fall Sports Schedule
The fall sports season is underway at Stoughton High. Click here to see the athletics schedule for this week.
We are also excited to announce that mobile ticketing is now available for Stoughton High sports games. Mobile tickets can be purchased through GoFan. There will still be a cash option available to purchase tickets for home games at SHS.
School Committee Meeting
The Stoughton School Committee will be meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the conference room at the SPS District Office, 31 Pierce St. The meeting starts at 6pm with an executive session. The public portion of the meeting is scheduled to start at 6:30pm. An agenda for the meeting can be found by clicking here.
